A Virtual Law Firm
In the old days, people would have to travel to get to a lawyer. Once there, they would sit in the lawyer’s waiting area and wait.
Eventually, the client would be led into the lawyer’s office to stare at his or her impressive diplomas and take in the sight of an array of serious-looking law books.
The entire process was designed to impress the client, and to make the lawyer seem like some all-knowing and all-powerful character.
Now we’ve got marvels of technology to allow people to work together without being in the same place. Email, phones, faxes, text messages and the Internet allow us to get more done, faster and more efficiently.
Fleischman Consumer Law Center was set up to harness the power of technology, and to operate without the constraints of space. Our lawyers and staff members come together to work on individual client problems, then groups re-form when a new matter arises.
For example, a complex mortgage foreclosure case may call for the services of a courtroom lawyer, an accountant, and a paralegal with expertise in federal litigation. Those people will come together to work on the case and then, when it’s done, those people will go to work on other cases with the firm as their skills are required.
We operate entirely online, with no fancy offices and no long drives to get to an appointment. Our clients have complete access to their files through a secure online portal so they are always in the loop.
